I’m Sophi, an Italian-German Film Director and Creative Producer based in Berlin.

My background spans commercial film, branded content, narrative filmmaking and social-first creative direction. I have directed more than 25 international image-film projects, working from the initial client conversation and creative concept through production, directing and post-production.

Before moving further into film production, I worked as Creative Director for Social Media at Tourlane, where I helped grow the company’s Instagram audience from 30K to 96K followers in under eight months. I later joined Factory Network and now work at its sister company, Factory Innovations, developing creative and social strategies for several brands and projects.

Across these roles, I have worked between clients, creative teams and production, translating ideas into clear concepts and guiding projects through to delivery. That combination of directing, producing and strategic thinking is central to how I work.

My personal films often focus on women and the quieter, more complicated parts of everyday life. My commercial work is rooted in the same interest in people, atmosphere and honest visual storytelling.

I’m particularly interested in the changing relationship between filmmaking and technology. I see AI as a developing production tool that can expand what is creatively possible, while strong ideas, taste, direction and emotional understanding remain essential.
